In a time where it is relatively easy to find a variety of audio and visual material on Islam, one finds the range is limited to “entertainment” and are perhaps useful only to young children. Those in search of quality Islamic educational resources however, are often left frustrated. There is not much variety to choose from. Created in 1996, Ihya Productions aimed to solve that problem. By consistently making a wide variety of educational material available to the general public, Ihya Productions, true to its name, has come to play a significant role in the revival and dissemination of the sacred Islamic sciences in North America. Ihya is committed to providing Muslims and non-Muslims with easy access to a rich collection of high quality audio and video recordings and publications at a reasonable cost. Our teachers are ably qualified and fully authorized to teach the sciences of hadith, tafsir, fiqh, `aqidah, and other vital texts taken from our sacred tradition. As part of our commitment to the revival and dissemination of Islamic education, all proceeds from the sales of Ihya Productions will go towards supporting local educational projects and a scholarship fund for serious men and women who are studying the religious sciences abroad and who are committed to returning to North America as teachers. We believe that these students will become the foundations upon which our communities will become stronger. The Arabic word ihya’ has come to signify the revival of the Ummah. By the Mercy of Allah and with your help, we plan on continuing to play an integral role in the ihya’ of the Islamic sacred sciences in the West.
