Original title: Nasrallah Following Path of Imam Khomeini (RA), Musa Sadr
Imam Khomeini (RA) and Imam Musa Sadr made endeavors for confronting sectarianism and tribalism and this is the same path Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is taking.
Representative of Amal Resistance Movement in Tehran Abu Yasser Adul-Aoun made the remark in an interview with IQNA, adding that Nasrallah follows the unifying path of Imam Khomeini (RA) and Imam Musa Sadr.
He pointed to verse 13 of Surah Hujurat “O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has Taqwa…”, saying that Imam Khomeini (RA) and Musa Sadr emphasized that the only criterion that makes one superior is Taqwa.
Adul-Aoun noted that Nasrallah followed this unifying path. “He is among the pioneers of Islamic Awakening and solidarity among Muslims and believes that Muslims should retain their solidarity to liberate the occupied lands.”
Asked about the influence of Quranic teachings in the life of Hezbollah leader, he pointed to verse 69 of Surah Al-Ankabut “As for those who strive hard in Us (Our Cause), We will surely guide them to Our Paths (i.e. Allah’s Religion – Islamic Monotheism). And verily, Allah is with the Muhsinun (good doers)”, and said Nasrallah has never given up Quranic principles and teachings even for one moment.
Elsewhere in his remarks, representative of Amal Resistance Movement in Tehran said the Lebanese resistance movement has been inspired by the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
“Iran’s revolution was the first example of Islamic Awakening in the region. We were inspired by this movement and believe that Iran’s revolution is the best example for nations to follow in their path of fighting against oppression.
“Following the path of the Islamic Revolution, we managed to defeat the Zionist enemy that had occupied Lebanese lands for over a quarter of a century. The resistance movement forced the Zionist enemy out of Lebanon in 2000 by resorting to the line of Islam and the Quran.”
Adul-Aoun noted that Iran’s Islamic Revolution was inspired by the uprising of Imam Hussein (AS), which was based on the slogan “Either Victory or Martyrdom”, adding “We are following the path of Imam Husein (AS) today.”
He went on to say that the Islamic Republic of Iran has managed to be influential in the world under the judicious leadership of Imam Khamenei.
